Hot take: both of Chase’s parents weren’t perfect. his mom might have not meant to damage chase,but she did. Yes she loved and didn’t physically harm him but she used him as leverage in her and his dad’s disputes and that’s not okay.

His dad also is a very performative parent and tends to brush past Chase’s health and focusing on his talents, which while coming from a place of love, set him up for failure in the future. Chase grew up in a hostile environment and was used to the expectation of having to be the best which was only further strengthened by his issues as a child.

I just wanted to inform you guys that I've made the decision to only allow people with accounts to edit/comment! I was hesitant at first, as a lot of useful comments and edits being made by users without accounts, but I think this will reduce the amount of vandalism, trolling, etc, and in the end, the benefits outweigh the cons. :)
